I couldn't find a thread out there for boat owners so I thought I'd create one to talk about boating, fishing, etc. Below is my story.

I bought my first boat a couple years back. Was a used 2002 SeaSwirl Striper 1851 Walk Around. Had a 2 stroke Yamaha 130hp on the back. Couldn't pass up the amazing deal on this boat especially for being a first time owner and wasn't really sure if I would like boating. Had the boat checked out and everything was in working order. Took the boat out almost every weekend for the first couple months I owned it and knew that I'd always be a boat owner. So after a couple of years of owning this boat and paying it off I knew I wanted something a little newer. Something that didn't have a cabin in it because I never used it. So a center console is what it was. Just last year I purchased a brand new Tidewater 180cc Adventure. Upgraded to the 110hp Yamaha fuel injected motor, powder coated T top, radio, GPS, ladder, cutting table, the whole schabang! Am extremely happ with the purchase and have cherished the eventures I've already had with the boat and look forward to all future eventures.

    Are floor mats a mod?

Nice! Got the 4 stroke Yami now, less gas! I think Tidewater is or was designed by .. Burns? The guy who did a lot of the Boston Whalers. Worked for one of the early Tidewater dealers, but can't remember shit anymore....

I have a 1948 27' Chris Craft cruiser, original straight 6 Hercules motor. Wanna buy it? Every time I even think about that thing it costs me money.

I coulda sworn there was a bigger "show us your boat" thread than this one. Maybe it was created by someone who was permabanned...

Anyhow I made this video of a sailing trip my buddies and I took last weekend from Long Beach out to Catalina, starting out with towing the boat down there with the Tacoma.

    Enjoy.
