I see... I thought that you thought entry #3. If it were any day other than Easter, that's what I would have thought.

    So where are those pics?

    Right here.

Hauled the HEPA filter down to the garage so I could work on the FJ.

Looking to do the rear control arms and the whole front suspension the weekend of the 8th. Found all the torque specs I need so ready to do it, just need the time.

Looks good, Tom. Glad to see you making some progress. I'm off the weekend you mentioned above, so I can probably lend a hand if needed.

Did you get the rear coils installed?

Not yet and have to figure that out. The coils I bought lift the back end 2". Need to get the front coils done up first and then be ready to play with the preload when I do the rear coils. For now, was going to install the rear arms and match stock length and leave the stock coils in there.

The install on the coils should be a piece of cake. You'll have to take off the lower shock bolts and disconnect the sway bar... then stick those puppies in there. I think you should just do it and go with the "drag racer" look for a week.

I still need to take some measurements to see if I can clear the garage door with it lifted. Might have to get a stealth rack sooner than I thought.

Now I understand. Was wondering why there are two sets of "bump stops". I have some King hydros but thinking of just leaving the stock ones in or going to the Icons. The Icons are pretty spiffy as they sit inside the coil.

I could get me some fat slicks for the back as well.

I'm still getting used to the blind spots. Every once in awhile it bothers me. I've gotten more and more comfortable with the mirror coverage though.

I have some in my truck, I tapped into the wiring behind the radio with them.

What type of help you wanting? It's been a while since I've done it, If I remember correctly I snipped the speaker wires from the back of the deck, put those wires from the deck into the line out converter & ran the new wires from there down to the amp than amp out to the speakers.

I'm guessing your powering all all the speakers by amp? I just need to know which wires to tap into I'm keeping everything stock and plopping in some subs, so need to pull from rear speakers output.

Wondering if I should just go aftermarket deck will prob have more options also....

I have one amp powering the door speakers and one amp powering the subwoofer. The problem I had when I did mine is the wire colors were different on the 14 than the other trucks… I hooked up the rear doors and sub together, my front speakers are loud enough to take care of everything else… this thread has some wire colors that could be useful…

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/installing-of-speakers-amp-to-factory-deck.184230/

I personally like my stock deck better than aftermarket but I don't have as much control with sounds as I did with my old pioneer. I adjusted sounds through the amps for the most part and slightly through the deck.

Loaded up the bushings in the control arms. While I was working on them, decided to go all OCD and strip the stickers off so they look similar.
