access cab sub box?

I've looked around this site as well as online and I cant find anything except boxes for older models. Im looking for a box that can fit a 10" sub and fits in between the rear jump seats. If ive overlooked the thread addressing this I apologize but ive searched all through the 3rd gen forums and the audio and video section and nothing for the 3rd gen access cab sub boxes. thanks in advance for the help.

Hello, I've been looking for the same thing and after contacting JL Audio this is what they told me:

Hello, I am not sure if we will revisit the Tacoma double cab. To our knowledge Toyota has used three different panels in that truck from 2012 on up to 2016. The box only fits those truck that have the panel shown on our website unfortunately. It coudl be some time before we develop anything new.

So if you find one let me know, because I'm still looking, might have to have a local Audio Shop custom make me one, for a much higher price i'm sure.

 

I just ordered a box from Mr Marv. Super awesome guy and very reasonable on his prices of his custom boxes. Look him up on the forum! I will post pics when I get mine in a couple of weeks

 

What! Rubbing my eyes........ at 6 Benjamin's I can have a band playing in my trucks bed....pardon me but that's insane!

 

My thoughts exactly. May just see about throwing my old box in there for the time being.

 

You have to be careful not to cover these vents they added to the 2016 right above the child safety hooks

 

There really isn't anything pre fab that is available for the trucks that do not block the vents. I looked and looked over the last couple of weeks. I got quotes of 700 dollars from one shop and 800 from another for a custom box. Mr Marv blew their prices out of the water and his product is top notch and built perfectly. I can't wait to get it and get my entire system installed.

 

Oh crap! I just realized this was a thread about access cabs.....my bad guys. I know nothing about your enclosure situation.

 

This is what I had made up for mine. 8" Alpine. I will be upgrading the doors soon as well, and possibly adding a processor.

The color looks a bit off due to the flash.

 

Nice. I'm gonna look into building one when I get back in a few months. Thanks for the pic/idea.
