    Hey you guys,
I just purchased a used tacoma about 2 days ago. im really disappointed because i paid 13000 and the second day when i was stopping i felt like i was hit from behind. It happens like once a day. Does anybody know what can be causing this issue?

Driveline slop can be caused by anything/anywhere in the driveline.

First things to check are all leaf spring U-bolts and shock mounts are tight, and check/grease your universal joints.

    Too few to list.
My cousin had this issue in his 2009. When I heard it, I thought it was the driveshaft needing grease. The clunk happened when at a stop then accelerating or truck parked then either moving forward or reverse. Turned out to be the brakes needing replacement and it moved around. Replaced pads and no more clunk.
