    Hey Guys

new to the forum. just bought a 2012 Tacoma TRD 4x4, double cab last week. Very happy with it thus far. now that I have had it a week, I have noticed some chips and scratches which I would like to fix. they are somewhat small but the truck is new to me and I want it to be as good as it can be. I just bought base color, primer and clear coat from automotive from automotive touch up. I got both the pen and aerosol (no aerosol primer though). Just looking for recommendations/guidance for the process. any help would be appreciated. You can look at the pics and see what I am talking about. the larger series of chips is on the rear of the cab, drivers side. there are two smaller chips on the rear drivers door, one on the edge and one on the door. the last one is on the rear passengers door. looks like previous owner just used some paint to touch up.

also any other recommendations to protect from future chips/scratches would be welcomed as well.
    thanks!
