    My fiance and I will be getting married October 15th and have decided to spend our honeymoon doing the Grand Canyon loop.

    Plans so far are to visit Zion National Park, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, possibly the petrified forest, Havasu Falls, and the Hoover Dam.

    We will be flying into Vegas and renting a car. I know we have a lot of members that live there or at least have visited a few times and I was hoping to get tips on places to stay, places to eat, things to see, or things to avoid.

    Our trip will be a modified version of this. http://tinyurl.com/LVbigloop

    Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

    MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
    Horseshoe bend is a spot to not miss. Great for photos at the end of the day as well.

    Also, make sure you have permits and all that for Havasupi falls.

    Places to eat in Flagstaff:

    Lunch / dinner = Beaver street brewery.
    Breakfast = Mike & Rhonda's Place.

    Williams is a cool little town, very route 66ish.

    Are you by chance .mil / retired / 100% disabled from VA? If so, then Luke AFB owns a bunch of cabins in Flagstaff. We stay there often.

    Oh yeah, and just to make sure you're aware: it's a LONG hike to Havasupi
