i was wondering if anyone has mounted a front clip by mounting the pins or type of latch off the stock core support(2012 DCSB)? the plan is to eventually have the clip hinged off the bumper and flip up.. but i cant afford to have the truck stuck in a shop for a month to get that done at this time.. so i was looking for a short term attachment option.. i havent bought the clip yet.. im waiting for the LT kit to be finished so ive just been weighing out my options.. fiberwerx 6" fenders would be easy but im pretty sure the tires would still stick out past them a little bit since they dont seem to be a true 6" flare.. glassworks 6.5" fenders would most likely fit but i hate that the rise doesnt match a TT bedside and looks goofy together.. the other option would be engage fenders.. i know they would fit the kit but not sure i want to deal with the crappy fitment ive heard so much about.. but a plus side is engage is local so they would be easy to get my hands on..

so this is where im stuck.. fenders would be easy to bolt on but some fitment might not be perfect, or a front clip that would fit the kit perfect but possibly a little harder to mount in my garage unless there is a easier way to mount off the core support for a short time till the partial engine cage is built
