885's and top plate spacer AND 887's will still net you 3" no matter what. I have the 885's and spacer

I would rather stay away from spacers.

It comes down to your preference. I went with 887s because why should I spend the money to add on a spacer to achieve the same thing?

Would you say the ride quality between the 885s w/ a spacer (¼") and the 887s are about the same. Assuming they're both on 5100s?

OK, so I called Wheelers. Very helpful guys, told them I was looking at the 887 v 885's. They said there is only a half inch difference and said the 887's are on national back order. So I guess I'll be going with the 885's and if I end up having to I can easily install a top hat spacer if I absolutely have to.

How do the 2885 coils compare to the 885/887?
