Yes. Not my truck, but others have. Jeff @jeffz0rz operates JTA Metal works. He can make some frame plates to box the rear frame rails.

@G.T. has the plates as well as @iJonny

@EddyRRT on here has done all the fab work in my truck. I'll let him tackle this one when I swap to Chevy 63s and 14" Kings. Might as well get the whole rear squared away at once. I'll post pics in a couple weeks when it's done.

That's heavy! Mine is right around 4000lbs (4080 with a full tank). I just made a bedcage out of .120" wall tubing, light and strong.

Are there recent pictures of your truck posted anywhere? That's a shit ton of weight taken out of the vehicle

When you get the frame plates installed I wouldn't mind seeing them. @iJonny has been telling me to do it for awhile now.

I think I'm going to weigh my rig. I estimate that I'm 630 lbs over stock.

Click the link for his build in his sig. The one and only, project Apocalypto. Very unique. ;)

I've got a staun style that I got on ebay for $20. Use that way more than my ARB. Have the ARB for backup or fine tuning because it was given to me. There is something great about it being 20 degrees out and you just screw your four on and listen to them whine while you sip your coffee.

Stauns are cool once you set them up to your preferred off road PSI, but not 80$ cool IMO.

I use the Currie deflator and set to my terrain. Had no issues with it for 3 years.

I like the stupid simple and cheap Teraflex ones. Let's air out all four tires at the same time.

Got them from filthy motorsports. They called after I ordered and asked me questions for a good 15min so they could get them valved properly for my application. Still got to get a nitrogen tank and air them up

Some friends and I hit the Tennessee Dirt Devil route and then up to Land Between the Lakes last Thursday-Sunday. Just thought I'd share a few pics from our little adventure. My Taco, a Tundra, and two Jeeps. The Dirt Devil is one cool route. I totally recommend it if you get a chance and LBL is a neat area, as well. Lots of great places to camp by the water and cool forest roads that criss cross the area.

I posted a write up under Adventure Reports on ExpoPortal if anyone is interested.

The actual route is copyrighted so gpx isn't readily available...though I would mention a portion of it can be found out there but not all. The map can be purchased though for 20 and i recommend that. The route is about an hour southwest of Nashville.

Search for it on dual sport forums. There are some videos on YouTube of jeeps but a lot of them show people getting off the road and driving down the creek beds. Apparently there have been some nasty confrontations with locals over it...understandably. Stick to the roads and all is well.
