How do you remove radio trim piece on a 2nd Gen?

I can't seem to get the trim piece separated from the radio. The radio's out, the hex screws on each side have been removed and all the tabs that I can see have been lifted....It seems to be hung-up on the bottom somewhere and I'm afraid to just pull hard for fear of cracking something off. HELP!
