Mostly just trying to get a decent set up. It's confusing with all the different types of coax and antennas.

 

@Wishbone Runner and @Squeaky Penguin are both excellent with antennas.
They have a whole collection.

 

Ya they each have one for every day of the week.

 

That's not true at all, I only have one for every other day of the week.

You guys got any good recommendations on antenna and cable? Or any good info to read on it?

They both either are or have run the wis on flex antenna. I run the same one. It is great for the colorado terrain.

 

Do any of you guys with a HC rear bumper run one of the "Pilot" license plate flip up brackets?

 

Any ideas for a trasharoo solution for those without a tire swingout?

I've seen people mount them on the tailgate, but i would bet that the paint is beyond fucked after driving for a little while and then the tailgate won't go down.

I've used a 5 gal bucket with lid in the bed, just have to remember to close it all the way... I remembered that about 16 miles down the white rim after having baja fun, looked in the mirror and saw the bucket sans lid rolling around. Spare food, garbage and rib bones playing hide and seek among my camping items.

I guess i need to get @3378jakesr5 to build a ladder that I put on the back burner when he gets done playing around with his contraption.

It was supposed to be built in highlands ranch bigger store too from what i herd. i think close to I70 or somthing. City and or agreements they had in place failed ended up building two stores one down south and one up north. I dont blame you now a days the traffic here is nuts. I avoid Denver like the plague.

even when completely full, my tailgate still opens. but yes, the dirt/dust behind and the rubbing really does a number on the paint.

Snow is all going to depend on how late the last snow is. It has been melting very fast, but there is a huge storm this week and another in two weeks.

LOL when full your tailgate wont stay shut...
