    Hi All,
    I'm looking at buy a 2nd gen prerunner with a v6 and would like to know if it could pull a 3000lb ski boat easily out of the water.

    Haha! I have a buddy who tows a ~6,800lb Formula Thunderbird that looks just like this! The boat is literally 2x the size of his truck, and it tows no problem... Not saying I would, but it hasn't caused problems yet!

    Yes. I pull a 16.5' bass boat. (Fiberglass) with a 2.4l. You'll do fine with your V-6.
