This is a place outside Farmington, NM just 40 miles across the boarder. This is my report from last weekends trip out. Hopefully with the pictures and videos you get a feel for what it's like out there. The rock is very coarse like 60 grit sandpaper providing great traction.

Went off-roading today. Started of in the same area as last weekend with @BigFishAllDay This was our group today.

We did Lower Rim trail first- I've been here before and know I'm taking the easy route here. Noticed the road in the background. Doesn't take long and I'm locking up.

    The easy line

The second noteworthy obstacle is this small waterfall. I've bypassed it the other two times. This time I went for it and rolled right through it. Watch for it in the video it will be at 3:19 and you see the white jeep go up first.

The next climb My buddies went to the right

I have to go to the left...this climb is in the video at 4:30

Then dropped these ledges...In the video at 6:19. That Tacoma in front of me is on 39.5's and a bouncing.

When my front came down I drug my belly skid. Then when I eased my rear tires off they were Both suspended. I was looking out the rear window really hoping my tire wasn't going to come though.

We raced down the wash to another trail.

    First obstacle,,

This next obstacle is what this trail gets its name from. The first part is a tough angled ledge with very little space at the top. Then you have to turn right and go down through these large rocks within some busy crushing walls. I got denied the first time but I was pretty green and scared.

The first guy went up the middle..

    image_264_c204e56c03669d46fa584d2adbb6347722bd1fff.jpg

This guy took the hardest line and drug his roll bar against the rock wall pretty good.

    image_265_cdb3980dadc38498e13f088818bb6b161b699334.jpg

Then I went at it and got stuck again..just too long w/o enough articulation. I scratched my cheap light bar up pretty good. Cool video I need to clean up shows my effort here. I could have backed up it as I've see others do but didn't think that was necessary.
