All I'm saying is this : making a statement like that is just not very audio smart. Yes I'm going to use the word audio smart lol. Generally 1 12 ported is roughly and this is generally speaking terms here with everything the same as loud as 2 12s sealed. The sealed 12s Should technically sound better, have a better response curve and a lower db drop off slope. To claim louder than 4 12s is just stupid because clearly the dude with 4 12s had no idea what he was doing, was running funky pops or only 300wrms total lol

True, well if you go with a generic prefab box, thats cool, but from my minimal experience with prefab boxes its best to fortify the box with some sealent and screws. I blew the front off my first box and it rattled very loud. Screwed it down and then a few weeks later the back popped the glue off and i had to screw it down and reseal everywhere. It hadnt even been screwed together. Also mounting depth is a nothing thing to consider.

The box i described earlier was a 2 12 box for behind a s10 bench seat

@ZMan2k2 has managed to get 2 shok triton 12s sealed in with a little extra work. The mounting depth is 6.24inchs for reference. They sound really good, gets pretty loud as well with a wide bandwidth. The 10s are 5.92 for mounting depth. I believe, with some minor mods, you don't have to go to his extent to get either the 12s to fit or the 10s. Bump the power up to 1.5-2kw and enjoy :)

Im not here to sell these, mostly just indicating what is possible. For a more efficient build, id say you can most likely SQUUEZEEE a 12 in ported on 1kw

I just had one made to fit the cubby behind the rear passenger seat and should have it in tomorrow. I actually found Juan on Youtube and he was super nice to deal with and has 18 years of car AV experience. He makes custom fiberglass ready-to-go sub enclosures for our Tacoma's that are nice and much less than the JL Audio Stealthbox. I had mine made to fit 2 shallow mount Pioneer 10" subs like his video, but he can tailor them for a handful of sub choices. Give him a call 626-278-2631

Did you have to remove any of the mounts for car seats?
