    Factory springs are starting to lose their arch and lay flat on my 2012 TRD Access cab. Getting a price quote from SoCal suspension on Saturday however instead of installing an AAL (bandaid) I've come to the conclusion it'd be better to swap out the factory leaf packs with upgraded after market leaf packs.

    I am looking to achieve both a small increase in load capacity and an inch or two of ride height in the rear ( I prefer a slightly racked forward look)

    Anyone have any suggestions or pictures of a similar set up. I currently have what looks to be aftermarket coil overs in the front which deems the truck pretty much level as it sits now.

    Thank you,

    I have had a very bad experience from them in customer service trying to buy from them, my little brother had there rear Springs on his 91 SAS&was like pulling teeth for warranty on them as well.so for me that's it for them

    Thanks all for the helpful replies, I'm hoping the leaf pack will allow enough lift and upgrade in ride height and load capacity while not being too much. Anyone have any insight as to how much either of these spring packs settle over time? Obviously dependent on vehicle use.

    I installed a set of Dakar's. The only reason I went with them was because of the cost savings I was getting when I was purchasing my suspension kit.

    These pictures are before I leveled out the front that day.

    In regards to buying from @allpro , I've been working with Sam there and he's been awesome so far.

    @MeFryRice thanks for the pictures! What size tires are you running? Those pictures are with just the Dakar spring packs no additional blocks etc?

    The picture is showing only the Dakar leaf pack with no additional leafs or blocks. The tires are 285/75/16 BFG K02's.

    Looks great! Did the same thing on mine and went with the Dakar pack. Much better option than an AAL, IMO. image.jpg

    I have 285/70/17 on my inferno. I'm currently getting rub on the cab mount but my caster is at 2.2. I'm having my local 4x4 shop align it next week and bring the caster forward to about 3.6. That should illeviate the rub I'm getting.

    I'm thinking about going to a 17 inch wheel, got new UCA'S and full OME with 887 coils and dakars.I should look into the alignment numbers I need to get

    OP I'm sure you know that the Dakar leaf pack is intended to be an upgraded capacity leaf-pack the way I understand it. Something similar to the AllPro expedition leaf-pack. I'm actually leaning towards the All-Pro standard leaf pack just because of the fact that it should be a decent lift with near stock ride quality. I might be wrong, but that's what I've been lead to believe by their descriptions.

    @TacoSeanFF , @MeFryRice

    Both lifts look good, and with the BFGk02's beef things up nicely, but it begs the questions on what you used for UCA's and wheel offsets/backspace possibly, did you or are you gonna have to do a CMC or some kinda cuts.

    Or is everything tits up?

    This is the same setup I have except I have the 885 coils. I will say my original caster prior to first alignment was at 3.6 and I had no rub driving it to Firestone for the initial alignment.
