So I picked up a pair of custom retrofits, but they are a tad misaligned.. how do I realign them? I don't know if I have to split the housings, or use the factory alignment screws. Any help would be great!

I've tried turning the factory alignment screws but it doesn't seem to move anything.

Are they misaligned as in one is aimed higher than the other? or are the cut off lines crooked?
If one is higher than the other, then you can just use the screws on the back to adjust the beam up or down (but be careful because those adjustment screws are cheap and they will strip out easily).
But if the cut off lines are crooked then you will have to open up the headlight and turn the projectors until they are straight

Hmm, okay, ill try turning the screws more then. It looked like they weren't moving the line at all, I just have to move the passenger side down a couple inches, they aren't crooked fortunately haha. They are FXRs.

Well there are two screws on the headlight, one moves the reflector dish up and down, and the other moves the dish left and right.
They should be marked up at the top

    ^ this.

As Morgan mentioned, the plastic adjusters suck. They strip easily. However if it doesn't move at all, I guess you can move the drivers side up a tiny bit to match it, as long as it's still safe for other drivers
