    I thought about doing the same, but on the rear end and tying them forward. But I don't have a Ham....yet

    But you really don't need an 8' antenna for Ham

    Well you dont really need one for cb too.... but what you dont want to be able to talk to people 3 states away on cb/ham :p

    Touché. Haha. Are you supposed to have a 102" whip on a spring? I've seen mixed opinions on that

    I'm currently in the process.

    Took me two days and three different types of tools to finally get my upper ball joints to pop out of the upper control arms. Now I just need to take the spindles to a shop Monday to get new wheel bearings pressed in.

    Thanks. Its a work in progress to get it on par with my old Tacoma. Trying to do things a little smarter this time around to try and keep ride comfort and MPG a little better.
