I've had the chance to go all over the US. Tampa isn't one of those places, but I've found good and bad all over. Wherever there are more people, there is more good and bad. Just more.

Castle Rock ftw. Unfortunately we we are going to be home to the largest outdoor mall in America. But it's relatively close to the mountains

Is that what they are building just north of the outlet mall? I noticed that a couple weekends ago heading up to Denver.

I do like Castle Rock. We almost bought a house there about 5 years ago. It was right at the base of the Rock, downtown. Wish we would have cause I would sell it today for probably double the price.

Yep right past the outlets. Downtown is really cool to walk around. I've watched the whole city double or triple in the last 5 years even

Wow, lots of hate for Tampa. It's a city, has good and bad, you're going to get that anywhere with a population. Loveland is working for us for now but found out we want something closer to where we came from (Tampa) so closer to Denver it is. CO isn't alone with the influx, people are willing to part with money so they are moving to places with more to offer. CO has been on our map for awhile, finally pulled the trigger this year and plan on staying for the long haul. We'll see if the market falls out and ride it out if it does, what are ya gonna do.

I've lived in Boulder for 19 years, I'm happy here.

Just drove through Grand Junction, 7 miles of stop lights every 2 blocks with no timed lights?

    That sucks.

I am from Boulder, went to school in Fort Collins. Both are awesome, obviously boulder can be a little bit over the top liberal. But for the most part, there's a lot of very smart, hard working and fit people. Fort Collins has a lot of fun outdoors stuff as long as you live on the west side and like biking/running/hiking, kayaking, climbing, etc..

Currently in Arvada, which is nice since my commute is 10 minutes to work. Olde Town is cool, but otherwise I miss being able to run into the foothills like I've always been able to in the past.

I hear Grand Junction is VERY conservative, like even more so than Co Springs. But I get a good vibe from the Mead area.

Laramie is really cool too if you are more of a small town person.

Close on my new Durango home in a couple of weeks. It would be cool to have an FJ80 to go with it. They're getting hard to find in good shape.

I lived in Tampa (Odessa, Hunters Greens, Clearwater Beach and a almost 1.5 years in Carrollwood) for a total of 23 years. I love Tampa! Where in Tampa did you meet "some of the worst people at?". My family is still in Tampa, and still loves Tampa. LOVES IT!
    Hear hear!

Tampa is crap and would not live here if I had a choice. I say Tampa but really I live and work in Pinellas County.

Someone mentioned Buena Vista. If I had a job there in CO, that would be the place to live. Front range sucks. The wind is terrible in the winter and spring along the front range. Additionally CO is getting A LOT of people moving in from out of state.

And yea, I cant think of any good reason why anyone would want to move to Boulder.
