Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Not sure if this is area wide, but save a few bucks on oil at Walmart right now.

Doesn't look familiar to me. Where in Funkytown did you spot it?

Off work early today, thinking about killing some time see what I can find at a junk yard. Anyone know of any good junk yards with 2nd gen Tacomas in ft worth?

The only one I know of is off berry Street on the west side of 35. But I'm not sure where exactly. It's a salvage yard. But I'm also not sure if they have any tacos, went there for my Corolla once.

Usually wrecked Tacomas are fixed no matter what since the resale is so crazy on them. An old neighbor of mine had a salvage yard and I asked him about Tacoma parts. I wanted the over head console and some other odd and ends. He said they almost never end up in the junk yards.

Is there anyone else that has experienced a lack of waving back from other Tacoma drivers in FW? Geez I never get a wave back.

That's what I'm figuring as well. Pretty much just be a scavenger hunt till you randomly find one they're parting out.

Never noticed. People here stare a lot, so I wave at them to make them feel awkward. Works every time.

People driving Jeep Wranglers are usually of a similar mindset, I drive the same truck as the cable guy.

Well thought I'd chime in again real quick. Not that any of you probably care about any of my Fort Worth truck problems, but if you do read on.

    1. Last May my light bar got stolen off the front bumper around TCU. About a week later I found it on craigslist in Denton and bought it back for $35, didn't think it was worth causing a ruckus so I rolled up in an uber and just bought it back

    2. Not sure if any of you guys have gotten any maintenance done at G & M Tire and Service (right by TCU) but I'd advise against it if you had any future plans to. Had an oil change and tires rotated and they left my oil cap off and a rag chilling in the engine bay. Later had them replace some corroded terminals and they decided not to reconnect any accessory cables, so my battery would die every other morning. Made the move over the Mike's Off Road and they so far haven't been a solid alternative.

    3. Never taken the truck through automated car washes because of the wrap and i'd rather do it myself but I had a nice little time in the car wash at the Shell station on campus. My passenger bedside got smashed in by the automated machine arm. I guess it thought the truck was ending when it passed the cab and decided to make a turn and smashed into the bedside? I had a thread to see if it happened to anyone else (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/massive-bedside-dent-from-car-wash.425676/). Some comedy responses over there. But here are some pics of the damage if you don't feel the need to make another click over there. I ended up just taking off the bedside and popping it out the best i could for now.

    Light bar is back:

    Lovely bedside damage:

    Fixed Bedside damage (for now):
