No paint problems with mine yet, but I've noticed the visor or clear flipped down lense scratches easy... Hoping they have replacements for cheap.

Actually looking for a drz400 or maybe 450 exc KTM to go street legal for out here in Oregon. Weirdly, I'm from Northern KY myself and trying to find out the requirements for street legal out here. In Oregon, you can literally ride from Washington to California on almost all dirt roads entirely, but I don't want to be limited to off road when traveling around. How much did you spend total on converting your drz? I am a fan of suzuki so looking for one of these myself.

If anyone has some insight on the requirements in Oregon for converting a moto bike to street legal, that would be really appreciated. I keep finding conflicting info on the subject so any help would be awesome. Thanks!

To be honest...i'd just buy an S or SM model...they're already street legal.

For the sake of being a lazy a-hole. What models do you recommend? I'm more of a sport quad background in moto sport, but I'm looking for a good light trail bike that still has the balls of a race bike.

WR450f or CRF450x if you want something trail oriented that can do street.

DRZ400s if you want something that does both street and dirt equally well
