I've had a 2001 Tacoma, Extended Cab, RTD since 2001. Been off road quite a bit but never abusive. I'm on my third set of tires Yokohama AT's. So far (15 years) The truck has done everything I've asked of it, I just turned 88,000 miles and was thinking about getting a new one about three months ago and decided to just spend about $1500 on it and get it upgraded a little. Started with New Anzo Head and side lights, then NERF Bars and a Bull Bar. Had a lot of scratches from running through brush and spent about eight hours with fine grit sand paper and liquid scratch remover. Used some Turtle wax plastic restorer to get bumpers, Mirrors and grill looking like new, also changed from a plastic toolbox to an aluminum, small box, finished off current effort with new camo seatcovers and Coyote logo headrest covers. Currently trying to decide whether to put new LED taillights in. So far it just doesn't seem to rate the cost, so I'll think about it some more. I live in Panama City, Florida and hunt a little and fish a lot. My Tacoma pulls my 18 foot center console without much effort and I fish as much as possible. I did 20 years in the Air Force and 21 Navy Civil Service. I've been a Veteran Business Counselor for the last 10 years, and hope to make another 10. When I was thinking about getting a new Tacoma I also realized that it's never had a problem and with only 88,000 miles it should be good for another 20 years. Will post pictures in the near future. In the past three years I've had four different people approach me at service stations wanting to buy my truck. I figure I would get about $12,000 for it and a new one with similar features would cost about $38,000. It isn't to hard to do the math on that. Keep on Truckin. FLCoyote
