    The dry moly lube is good. I used it when I didn't have time to redo the zip ties when they broke the first time. Still have to unload the suspension and drive the leafs apart to spray in there though, at least that's how I did it for most effective outcome.

    Cut & broke off some stuff.
    I think it's been about 6 weeks and 2 wheeling trips since adding zip ties to my dakars. Still quiet.

    As a side note to the Dakar squeak. I have almost completed completely sound proofing my truck. I just have to do 2/3 of the back wall and pass side C pillar, then I'm done. I think I have 24 hours into the doors alone. Toyota doesn't put anything in the doors. I put about 8lbs of material in each.

    Since doing all that work, I'm not bothered by any sounds that the truck may make now. Mud terrain tires and I can talk to, and hear my little kids in a regular voice going down the interstate at 70 mph, no problem. :thumbsup:

    When the zip ties broke the first time, I only knew because I heard the sound while loading gear in the truck. I treated the springs, so when I am on the trail, my rig doesn't sound like a pile. lol

    Just thought I'd throw that out there. :)

    OK , thats great , your squeak goes away seasonally , if you check the amount of posters in this thread you'll find thats not the norm

    So just saying " it will go away " isn't accurate

    A funny thing is, I have a buddy who's been through two trucks with two sets of Dakars hasn't ever had to deal with persistent noises from them. Now, is he just lucky or are the majority of us doing something wrong during installation...

    @Crom

    My EPDM strips are getting to the end of their life cycle , I'm going to try out your zip tie method this time for a change

    I did the zip tie fix and mine is still making all kinds of noise...
    I didn't spray the Dry Moly Lube yet as the company I ordered it from off Amazon sent me the wrong product o_O
    It's on the way though and will apply it next week sometime.

    I hope it quiets down... :fingerscrossed:

    The noise usually comes from the front
