Brushes at the car wash are bad, as you've determined. Just a heads up- as careful as I have been, even with all the research I have done and good products, etc., I've noticed I've been getting swirls lately. It's happening because I went to waterless washes. They're really convenient, but to be honest, I'm gonna go back to two bucket only after I do my next polishing session. Maybe an occasional waterless in the winter after a GOOD pre rinse with a hose or pressure washer. But moving to waterless as my main method, over time, has led to a lot more swirls. Maybe rinse-less would be better, but waterless just isn't cutting it.

Here's a shot of the AG Gold Plush, the Rag Co Creature Edgeless, and the Costco brand.

Why are you do waterless washes? I do rinseless in the winter when it's too cold for a 2 bucket wash but I always use the pay n spray on rinse only to knock off the heavy stuff.

I started doing them this winter in the garage because it was easy. Ha that was my first mistake. Actually, I started last fall and then it just sort of evolved into winter. I thought I could get away with it. Temptation got the best of me. But with the added winter grime, it was too much. If I ever do any more, I'll be sure to use the pressure washer first, like you said.

I also probably didn't use enough towels. Again, trying to take shortcuts is where I went wrong. Lesson learned.

Gotcha. A power spray is a must. The road crews love to use salt around here o_O. I always do a rinseless 2 bucket. Use anywhere from 6-8 towels. I never put a towel back in the rinseless solution. 2nd bucket is there just to rinse towels when done.

Hahaha yeah I'm done with them! They've moved from paint to the door jambs to the mud flaps and now the wheel wells.
