Hey TW. We are looking for some good trails around the Birmingham, Cullman area or somewhere in between. It's not as simple as I thought to find, everything seems to be private property. Also places to ride and maybe camp. Thanks for the help.

    I bounce it offa stuff.
We used to go behind the Hoover Met stadium when I was in high school there (class of 2003). Was a couple good trails by there and Russet Woods, I think it was. I'm pretty sure the other ones around there have been developed over by now.

Thanks for the info captain. I did a quick search on the area u were telling me about. From what I could find out, there is about 190 or so houses and a large playground with a pavilion and walking trails there now. seems everywhere we could go when we were younger is developed or private land now.

The russet woods area was shut down, and they are ticketing anyone who enters the last time I heard.

I'm at work right now so I don't have time to list the areas that I know. But come post in the Alabama thread and I'm sure you'll get the info you're looking for.
