Looking for a place to go camping and trail riding. Would like a place to where you can set up camp anywhere on the trails Or at least designated camping areas Is there any place like this in sc/nc?

Near Asheville you have hurricane creek (mile marker 8 on the west bound side of I-40) and Ivestor Gap trail in the Black Balsam area off the blue ridge parkway. Unfortunately Ivestor Gap trail is only open like 3 months out of the year.

I've been running Horse Pasture Road in upstate SC a bit lately. There are campsites out there. It's an easy trail ride, no rock climbing or 4wd required. Just watch out for the sand traps near the power lines.
