Compass Temp gauge overhead console in a (2.7) 4 cylinder possible ?

Bob said that he doesn't know how to connect the mirrors to the Regular Cabs (no overhead compartments with wiring harness)
What did you do?
Install aftermarket compass and temp sensors?.. That correspond to the rear view mirror?

 

So I want to see if my 2015 AC 2.7 has a team sensor. It was prewired for the back up camera so I am hoping it is for a temp sensor of some kind.

Guess it's just up front somewhere out of direct incoming air flow but capable of not being influenced by the engine bay temps.

 

My 13 Regular Cab has the temp sensor, and the pre wiring for the back up camera.
I wonder if I just buy a camera, it will display on the touchscreen OEM radio?
And I wonder if I can utilize the temp sensor?
my last truck I put in a temp/compass it was only an sr5

 

I got mirror from Bob. I got complete mirror wiring kit from Bob that included the temp sensor. I mounted mirror to windshield. I ran harness across top of headliner from mirror to pillar and down pillar to fuse box area. I connected 2 wires to power - 1 to constant and 1 to switched - used rr door lock and rr window fuses in panel since reg cab doesn't have those. I ran ground wire to body bolt in same area. I ran temp sensor out grommet above left foot on firewall out to center of truck mounted in front of radiator to the metal support that hood release bolts to where it is right at top of bumper and bottom of grill. I turned on truck and calibrated compass. It works great...............in process of doing same thing with same mirror and wiring kit on my car too since it also has amber dash lighting. Mirror is mounted but need to run wiring.

 

camera didn't work. i even tried to use the 4 pins in the back of the head unit, then tap into the reverse hot wire.
fuck this shit

 

Anybody's Regular Cab come pre wired with the 14 pin connector above the microphone in the ceiling?
