I think my Frontier is 150/150 or 100/100 MBPS and no contract. Of course I pay a lot for that speed.

I've had Comcast the past 9months with 125mbs line for 49.99. Download speeds are fast, uploads not so much but handles all my gaming needs. Some parts of the city Comcast offers a gigabit line.

3 main providers in the area

comcast - reliable, 24/7 support, national and can offer as fast as you can pay for
frontier - reliable, don't buy the fiber thing because you have COAX in your house, so doesn't matter. good 9-5 support, speeds are there for the price as well
    centurylink dont bother IMO

lmk what you decide to go with before scheduling an appointment

I've had both Comcast and frontier (Verizon when it first launched FIOS). Comcast has been super reliable. Verizon was down a lot. I have heard it got better.

Comcast used to have some trouble in my area but, knock on wood, it's been solid for a few years.

My only issue with Comcast is you have to be in a 2 year contract, no? Isn't
THExBUSxDRIVER only here like a year?

And you can get out of the contract without paying extra if you move to a place without Comcast.

I did. I made my own with some 90' gussets and tubing. I would not advise it for a DD, as the yota V-6 is a buzzy little motor.

Anyone got a line on a company that is good at Tire / Wheel balancing in the Portland, Oregon City, or Wilsonville area?

Before I dive into replacing steering components, I want to make sure its not my tire/wheel combo. Tires are brand new Michelins and Wheels are 5-Star Factory wheels. Originally got it all mounted at the local Discount Tire...

    Thanks!!

Thanks for all the input guys. Ended up with comcast in a 2yr contract. I,d be able to transfer service wherever I end up after a year or be able to cancel it if the service is not offered in a new area.

So now another question. I gotta look spiffy for job interviews, do any of you guys have a good barber to refer me to?

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.

I get all of my tires/wheels from Discount Tire on the corner of 82nd & Sunnyside in Clackamas (off I-205). I'm sure Les Schwab would work too, but I prefer to give my money to Discount Tire.

After the Tahuya run I went on, I had some wood stuck between the wheel and tire. I stopped by DT to ask if that would be a problem. They took the tire off, deflated it, removed the wood, rebalanced, then rotated the rest of the tires...for free. Of course both wheels & tires were purchased from them, but I feel they have great prices and service regardless.
