what kind of prices are you guys getting on MTR's? I was looking at 265/75/16's in particular. you can PM me. I can't take advantage of this any more since I moved, unless I buy them there, and have them shipped to Kona. just wondering if it's worth doing that instead of buying direct from the Goodyear here

when I called GY Kona on Friday, they guy said they don't make MTR's in 265/75/16 :anonymous:

Just call Francine and ask for pricing. No biggie if anyone posts up prices. Cause they fluctuate. Do you get a deal on shipping? Might not be worth all the effort though.

yeah, shipping isn't a concern since I have a hookup through young brothers. the biggest thing is getting it from Waipahu and taking it to the port... unless they can ship store to store or take it to the port. haha

those FN five stars have really soft powder coating. mines flaked off soon as i tried to attach the center caps with the screws in. i also had to deal with it so i left the caps on i was just testing the center caps out if i liked it or not

Honestly, I can live with the paint scratches near the hub as it isn't as noticeable as the gouges on the inside of the rim. Woulda been good if I were to run the centercaps, but I don't really like the look of them on.

Anyways, test fitted the wheels on the truck. Rears are gonna clear no problem. I just gotta do some chopping up front and they'll be ready to run.

Don't mind the jack, it's just there to get the truck roughly at the height it'll be as soon as I install my lift, which should be coming in tomorrow.

well, if anyone cares, I answered my own question. I just got off the phone with Francine, and MT/R's are on sale right now. I inquired about 265/75/16's and they're on sale for $249.99, and since @Vanguard said it's not a big deal to post up prices, Francine's deal is $219.99. hard to beat that price for those tires. now I just gotta work out logistics to get the tires to me. :bananadead:

@Vanguard thank you so much for the hookup. Duratracs are on sale plus the TW price made it an easy choice. Francine is so awesome.

Now I can at least look good when I get stuck. :crapstorm:0505161615_HDR-01.jpg

    265/75/16 Load E

Was supposed to get Load C at first but there was a mix up in the invetory listing in the computer. Load E was only a few more dollars per tire.

Just wanted to make a shout out to Francine at Waipahu Goodyear. Got me some new Goodyear DuraTracs 265/70/17 and it looks great. I also had them put my old mud tires on my sons Tacoma. Awesome service and awesome deals. I suggest if you need new shoes for your truck go and check them out first.
