Did you go with a lift kit or did you piece a kit together?

No I dont think so. I picked up the bilstein 5100s and the AAL from 2 separate vendors. I was able to price mine out cheaper than picking up a kit.. Prices are always changing though.

I took my "Tacoma" hazard out of the radio, then went to the buy/ sell/trade section and offered to trade someone that had a clock one. A couple days later a member took me up on my offer.

Did you have to use longer U-bolts or stay stock?

I stayed stock, but it was a very tight fit. I would definitely recommend going longer, but if you have to make it work it is doable.

    Well played sir! Well played..:D

Would you mind posting a couple pics of how you mounted the lower valence light bar? Working a similar project and curious to see how you did the angle iron behind there.

I dont have any pics at the moment.. but this is how I did it. Cut out the mesh in the lower valance. Fit the light to my desired location and kept trimming. Mounted the stands that came with the bar horizontal and parallel to the hood. Got a piece of angle iron and mounted the bottom of it to the crash bar and the vertical part to the back of the light bar stand. Bolted it up and ran it to the battery and put an in cab switch.

Bro I love what u did to ur taco! Exactly what I would have done. I have a 2014 SR5 Pre and I wanted a 2015 TRD Sport long bed 4x4 but it wasn't available at the time so I had to opt in for what I have now. I love my truck and plan on doing my build soon. but Im hoping i find the 2015 TRD before i get way into my 2014 build. But great job on ur build!:dancingbacon:

Thanks Joe, Ya these are definitely not cheap, I was originally leaning toward the path you took, but didnt just for that exact same reason of getting financially involved in the first truck. Trade up man, these things hold their value like crazy! Gotta do what makes YOU happy...

Not sure of the part number, I would just keep an eye on the for sale thread and get it the second you see it. Installing it is a bitch, but I'd be more than happy to help guide you through it.
