We just sold the last remaining AWA-S case. At the time of this post, (3) silver cases are available for building - either in V1 or V2W power options. Prices did go up, again. We do however, have over (100) black cases remaining. No worries on these for the short term.

Hey Darren, I recently got my Flyeye and went to install it today. I hooked up the wires like it showed in the instructions but they won't illuminate. I tried reseating the splices to make sure they had a good connection. Anything else I can try? My only other thought is that maybe one of the batteries is bad, I'm going to try replacing it and see if it works.

 

First level trouble-shooting: Dismount the unit and select either primary or secondary and run up the (R) touch-sensitive dimming contacts all the way up (press and hold ~ 5 seconds).

IF the unit works while dismounted but does not work while mounted: Possible causes include;
1. Blown internal fuse. [Solution - send unit back for repair]
2. Faulty wiring connection. [Use DVM to verify power at mounting plate contacts when vehicle lighting circuit is powered ON.]
3. Misaligned mounting plate to the electrical contacts on the unit itself. [Use DVM to verify]
4. Broken reed switch. [Send unit back for evaluation / repair]

Thanks for the info, got it all sorted out. Not entirely sure what I did, but it's working now after another complete reinstall. I think it was a "my bad" somewhere along the way.

The unit is awesome by the way, I love having the additional light! Quality product too, fit like a glove when I went to install it.

Are these still in production?

 

Will you be getting anymore siver cases in? I see the only silver cases available is with the custom lighting. I'm interested in the silver case with the standard amber/white/ amber colors.

 

I read through all the posting and see you are not replacing the silver cases and going out of production. If you have any silver case left I will do the custom build with the halos amber, primary white and secondary amber. I think I got it right.
