He had it for two days. Got it all done the first day but not in time to get it aligned. I know the mechanics brother pretty well so not sure if that was a friend price or not. I'm assuming it was a bit of a hook up seeing as most labor rates are around 90/hr and I don't think it could be done by one guy in just over three hours.

I paid $750 to install the same thing. So yeah you got off cheap.

I just paid $300 JUST to get my front coil springs changed a couple weeks ago.

yeah the only thing that was a good deal when I went in to get a quote was buying the arb bumper and they wanted 500 plus tax to install so Im just gonna buy it and do it at my co workers house and get alignment at Kimball

but I wouldnt get that level kit.. even though I have a second gen it took me 2 years almost 3 to end up getting my kit I ordered from @HeadStrong Off-Road got the OME lift with 3 leaf aal and LR UCA if I was you I would check them out and get a better kit instead of spacers. I asked on here as well about that cause I was thinking level as well but it aint worth destroying your 30K-40K+ truck over a cheap ass spacer. im sure there are some member who has this kit and love and would stand by it but longevity wise I would save up and get better lift. im no experience person but I know I wouldn't wanna mess up my truck with that IMHO. but im sure someone will jump in and explain more about differences and all

Curious if this is worth it... Just got quoted for a full Icon Stage 2 install on my '13 double cab (front/rear shocks, AAL, UCA, the works) at $2650. Should I take it? Had all the rest of my truck work done by these guys so I know how they are, but never did a REAL lift kit before.

Part #'s/description would help on the front/rear shocks. The extended travel are the same as mid travel price wise in the front, so go extended.

Have to look into which set they quoted me at, didn't think to ask if it was the extended travel or not. Thanks for reminding me of that though!

Okay, update... The quote is for the extended travel 0-3.5" Icon stage 2 front shocks, the aluminum series 2 rear remote reservoir shocks (0-3" lift), and the AAL 1.5" lift. Basically this, but with the extended travel front shocks...

    http://iconvehicledynamics.com/shop...ota-tacoma-0-35-suspension-system-stage2.html

He did say he could do the UCA if I got the Stage 3 kit (sku #K53003T) but it will be an extra $700 for a total of $3350 installed. Wish I could just do this install on my own, but I lack the time, space, and tools. (And the knowledge as to how, but I'm willing to change that at least... Would rather do my own work on my truck if I could!)
