Stock rugged fails, no diff breather mod, replaced the diff fluid & changed oil three days after. I'm still finding sand on the under carriage to wash off.
I put a set of Goodyear wrangler all terrains on last week to replace the original tires (80K miles).

I am planning on going back to look at the hole in a few weeks to see what it looks like dry. From the way things felt, the hole is exactly truck sized.

Anyone of a good place to take the children (freshwater) fishing? Trying to plan a few summer adventure trips so they see the outdoors and not just a computer screen.

It took me forever to clean my undercarriage worth a damn. I dropped my spare and just laid under the truck for a couple hours wiping it down.

Sorry, can't help you out with the fishing situation.

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
We used to go pond hoppin' in Sand Hills or hit the Nature Walk  but that'd frowned upon. If you wanna make a trip, Lake Seminole is nice. My buddy's uncle lives on the lake and we always had fun up there. If you got a boat anyways

I have only ever really put bait on a hook and cast it into the water. Never really caught anything, but want to get the family out of the house doing stuff, not just sitting around on the weekends. Don't own a boat or have a friend with one.

I want to do this for sure. I have seen the "how to" post; I'll look what parts I need and get them ordered. I need to replace the front brake pads and should probably replace the rear pads too. I'll post when I get the parts and we can figure out a mod day then.

Is it easier/better to get the Toyota parts from the dealer or order online? I can get the fuel line from the car parts store.

I go to the local dealer as a last resort for anything. Online: Camelback Toyota Parts, TRDParts4u, Amazon, eBay, Wheelers Offroad, Downsouth Motorsports, URD, and LCE Engineering are my go-to's.

X2 for online. Although you may be able to save on shipping if ordered through the local dealer. I had them order me 2 bolts on a saturday, and it got there tuesday. For the fuel line, you can get 10' of it at lowes for $7

For the breather relocate, I got the union and breather from the dealer. Price was similar to Camelback, and didnt have shipping. Like the other guys, I got fuel line and hose clamps at Lowes.

Yup, I have the part number and stuff if you want it. (not you norman :p) Plus it only takes like 24hr to get the part from the dealer. Fuel line from Autozone, and the clamps as well. Its really easy to do.

Anyone doing anything here in the next couple of hours or so near milton? I'm gonna take a journey with the 80 and take her on her first "long distance" trip over to milton to get my driveshaft shortened. I'm taking the 98 route since this 80 will not reach 70mph haha
