Installing the Bestop Supertop on my 2016 Tacoma.

    Does anyone know if you're supposed to drill or cut into the composite bed to install this? Thanks!

    No drilling required. You should know up front that Bestop has thus far elected not to update their top for the 2016 Tacoma. The bed rail to top of cab dimensions are slightly different. The top of the Supertop will be about an inch above the top of the cab. This would probably increase drag and pose a greater risk of blow-off while driving. The problem has been discussed elsewhere in the forums. Here is a link below to the instruction manual:

    The install did not go! I called the manufacturer 2xs and they confirmed that it would fit the 2016 - FALSE! I got halfway into the install when I realized that there was no physical way to make it fit. Save yourself the frustration!
