I'm going to have to pick one of those up, I love to grill, and that's way too convenient.

I think I found my onboard water solution too. $108 on Amazon and it accepts regular hoses. I think I'll rig it up with one of the small coiled hoses and then try and find some kind of low flow head for it.

If you want a stainless steel model, the Zodi Extreme on Amazon is only a few dollars more...

    http://www.amazon.com/Zodi-Outback-...5?ie=UTF8&qid=1463238113&sr=8-5&keywords=zodi

I have one, and really like it.

I extended the hose with a kitchen spray hose and nozzle - makes it very convenient.

I can vouch for this as well my secret santa @G.T. Got me one and ive used it once. It's pretty good and for what i plan on using it for (washing the hotspots no so much major showers) it'll work just fine.

It works just fine for major showers as well.

Either put the sprayer on a stove, or, what I do is fill the sprayer part way with water, boil some water on the stove, then add it to the sprayer. The hot water warms the cool water, for a perfect shower in the middle of nowhere!

Which hose and nozzle did you end up using?

How/where do you mount it? In the bed?

Any videos in use as a shower?

I think when I get mine I will make a bracket to mount it to a swing out on a rear bumper like Dean did.

I'm not exactly what most would consider a bikini model candidate but give me a couple weeks so I can get my Zodi delivered and I'll see if the wife will let me sort through her swimsuit collection.

    Lol.

I meant mounting location (height) and shower head. Since it will be attached tithe bumper, I get it. ;)

    No video necessary. ;)

A generic kitchen sink (repair) spray hose with sprayer. Nothing fancy, just an inexpensive piece. I used a brass barb fitting to join the 2 pieces together.

I don't have it mounted - just store it in the bed, and take it out to use it. We have a shower tent, and sit it outside the tent when showering. The longer hose makes it easy to do.

You have to be careful - if the tank is hot, it could melt the vinyl floor of a tent.

No video. I guess I could make one if you really want to see it.

We are really happy with ours.

Hot showers are nice when winter camping!

I was wondering how people secure their gear underneath their bedracks. I was thinking a heavy duty cargo net with some locks would help keep peoples hands off my gear when I am not around the truck.

A small handful of select mods.
I'd like to see a classic FJ40 front end. I would probably just get one for the backyard patio.

Not quite overlanding... Botched my departure time from Washington this trip.

Ferndale, WA to Homer, AK in about 50 hrs.. departed WA 0730 on Tuesday, made it to Fort Nelson on "Day 1", then Tok, then Homer today to catch the ferry...

I know its been discussed but cant seem to find enough info. Starting to consider doing a small drawer in the front corner of the bed. I really only want it to take up about a 1/4-1/3 of the bed and it would need to be waterproof and lockable since I dont have a shell.

So with that, who has made there own slide and what did you use? Im leaning towards just doing a box with a lid for simplicity reasons of building and because it would be easier to lock and seal.
