Okay so I had some condensation build up. I took the housing off the truck, and put it on a towel in the sun. Periodically I put a paper towel in the housing and moved it around with a screwdriver. Well on what was going to be my last time doing it the paper towel became jammed so I tried to shove it with the screwdriver and it finally broke loose and the screwdriver kept going right through the glass face.

Would anyone want to hit Kansas Rocks over Memorial Weekend? I plan on driving to KC on Saturday the 28th for a Royals game, then heading out of KC on Sunday the 29th to the Park. They offer camping in the park over night for Memorial Weekend. Was going to wheel the 29th, camp that night, wheel some in the morning and head back to Omaha around early afternoon. I really hate to go at it alone.

So, I have the opportunity to get a full 5100 setup front on rear for $900 brand new in box. I really haven't priced them out and not sure what is all included and if it's a good deal. I'd really like 3" and run 285's, but also don't want to spent 1,500-2,500 on a lift. Just can't justify it.
    Opinions?

Getting that info. Not sure if I need to do UCA's or not with just the 5100's.

I would say that's pretty steep especially if it's just plain coils. The toytec stuff is more but it's more for ease of adjustment than anything.
You can get fronts for around 150-200 a piece and then rears are under 100 a piece. Even eibach coils are only 150. So that's roughly 750 and that's using the upper limit of pricing. Now if it's the toytec setup that comes with the add a leaf you still can get it cheaper than 900 by using coupons. It's only 919.99 from toytec.

On a side note I have some silver eibach coils with only 10k highway miles I would sell ya super cheap. Could hand deliver them next weekend too.

Yeah it's not bad at all. I have done mine 3 different times. I've used a few different compressors because some don't work on different coils. Done the woman's mini and moms Equinox. They aren't bad or scary as long as you take your time and understand how it works

I told the guy I'm out on his kit. I'd like to 3" on my 3rd gen. So, I don't know of any 4" lifts out there. Otherwise I'll just do 5100's all around with a diff drop. Ideally I'd like to do my lift, wheels, and tires at the same time.
Having a mod meet would be awesome. I use to do them back when and it was always a great time.
So, I was under the truck the other day and I am not seeing the cab mount that everyone is having trouble clearing tires with.
