I've been planning a trip of the SE Oregon for a few weeks now. This will be a 6 day trip, starting in Portland, Oregon. Currently it is only myself and maybe another friend of mine if he gets is new 2016 in time. Ideally I'd like to keep this trip on the smaller side. No more then 5 rigs

I know this a busy weekend for most, but if you're free and looking for an adventure! Let me know!

    My plans so far:

Day 1: PDX to Crater Lake
Day 2: Crater Lake to Alvord Desert
    Day 3: Alvord Desert
Day 4,5,6: Will consist of exploring the general area. Hot springs, Steens Mountain, Pillars of Rome, Ghost towns, back roads and more.

Below is the general route I am looking to take, trying to stick to backroads and BLM land. Camping remotely and off the grid. Expect great sites and tons on adventure!

I plan to take lots of video and photos.

I don't think I have the vacation time built up, otherwise this would be interesting since I haven't been in the SE much.
@KalamaKid seems to be always adventuring these days, he may join you.

Damn! I didn't realize you wanted people to go with you. Maybe next time when I can plan my days off.

I should of posted sooner, I had planned to head to Overland Expo but changed my mind. So instead of wasting 2 days of driving I figured I would spend it actually Overlanding!

Yeah. I'm down. Finally (FINALLY!!!) getting suspension ironed out through another vendor. Our washing machine died yesterday... So $600 down the drain.

    same shit as everyone else
Bring lots of GAS! There is very little out there. Also its too early to hit up the Steens. The trail is still closed due to snow.
