    I use the Mobil 1 Extended Performance filter with Pennzoil Ultra Platinum oil since I can get it cheap.

    You can buy the genuine toyota filters online in bulk (eBay, Amazon) and I use Mobile 1 oil, its good stuff ... Although, I have never heard of any issues with any kind of oil as long as you follow the manufacturers recommendations .

    Made in Thailand? No thanks. Rather use wix, bosch, Napa, microgard, supertech, FRAM, mobil 1, or nothing at all.

    As long as you try to stick to 1 brand of oil, you'll be fine. Your van motor isnt a 911 turbo, it'll be ok.
