I wanted them for my 99' but could never ever find a deal on them. Then they were discontinued.

 

So in other words you have to get Jerry to sell them!

 

I don't have the 99 anymore and I don't think I'd have the heart to wheel with them - they are too damn pretty to fuck up.
Also - tire size is an issue. 35x12.5x16 no bueno.

 

Why cause they are a 7" wide wheel? I'm gonna be stuffing 315/75r16's on a 7" wide wheel though I know those are a little less wide. Anything can be done if you get someone crazy enough to try it

 

No, they're 8" wide but the load is limited to 2100lb and pressure limited to 60psi, that's on the US made MHT wheels

Rd129 shipped today. Woooo!!!! Got a local guy that can put it in. Can't wait!! When I do the front though I'll probably go through ecgs and have them do the bushing too.

Unclamp slide down and hose clamp with some gasket material

 

I really need to do this. I went cheap and replaced mine with ones from Napa that was like a year ago but the one threw grease from the beginning. And I want to send the factory ones to cvj.

 

Before my truck went in for the frame I did the boot slide mod while rebuilding the boots. I used the old boot mod and used a 1" inner diameter snap ring to hold the cut boot in place. After I got the truck back I started spitting grease because the clamp wasn't tight enough. Ant told me about the RTV method so I unclamped, threw in some RTV and clamped it back up. Now I have the legit boot slide and it's not leaking anymore either.

If you want to get some grease back in there without needing to pull both clamps I filled an empty grease tube with cv grease and injected it into the boot.




I used the original clamps which are a fucking whore to close but the hose clamps make me nervous.

Probably going to shoot them all this week too. My cousin and I have a thing now. We're trying to hit a 1 gal milk jug at 1500 yd last time out we were close very very close just no hits.
