Me either. But I couldn't drink the beer and I'm not a fan of mixed drinks in large quantities so....

it was OK. since it was all that was available.... better stuff out there for sure

ooohhh.... haven't seen those around here

i have some too. they're great except if you set them on the ground the dirt sticks to them and since the rim is flexible you have to be careful how you hold them and how you drink from them. great for camping though!

ive got the vario version and its a lot of pumping for a Nalgene bottle. Itll work just fine but just be prepared for a lot of pumping. I used mine for about 3 years and finally switched to the platypus gravity works system and so far its much more convenient. the only downside id see with it would be if you only had a tiny puddle to pull from. if youre only going to use it a few times id say go for it! itll do its job!

Thanks for the info. Yeah, this would be used only a few times on a two week trip. I was just looking for something that would be a little more efficient than a life straw. I drink a lot of water.

yea ive got a lifestraw for emergencies but I would hate to have to drink out of that thing for long. katadyn makes some good stuff. the only thing mine has a problem with is a leaky seal. its not that big of a deal till its 20 outside and your hands turn into popsicles.

I like my Katadyn. Great little filter if you don't mind doing some pumping, lol. But I just picked up one of these a couple of months ago for the GF. Seems like it runs a little bit faster, but you're still doing some serious pumping to fill a pot of water or a nalgene. :notsure:
