The factory screws are a cheap black oxide metal with a course thread almost like a wood screw that thread into a plastic insert, cheap as all hell. You'll see what I am talking about once you take the skin off. If you're not careful when reinstalling them you'll strip the plastic inserts with ease.

Ahh I see. Yes I will figure it out when I tear it apart. Mod days for me always include a mandatory trip or two to the hardware store. I will definitely install some threaded inserts. Ordering tonight...yipee

Does your tailgate cap drop down further then the stock one? I have a Canopy and the seal has been rubbing my paint off! Wondering if your cap would drop down fair enough to stop it from running my paint.

Edit: Never mind I took a look at the pics and it appears it doesn't curl over the tailgate at all.

Will the 2016 tailgate skin work with a UnderCover SE without any problems?

I like your product, just want to make sure it will fit with new UnderCover SE coming this week.

    Thanks ...

No. The second and third gen caps will be different. We ran what we think is the last prototype on the third gen cap last week and plan to test fit it Tuesday. Assuming all goes well, they will be ready to start selling mid week.

How much is shipping to 95018 for sliders, ifs skid, tailgate skin, and a set of locking bed doors? The website just says "no shipping method available"

Take everything off except the sliders and try again. Adding all those things will not effect the shipping rate. We can put it all on the same skid for the same price.

If you do decide to buy all these things I will have to invoice you though. Our shipping calculator doesn't like to do it all as one. So whatever that rate is that comes up, is what it is. Just go through, add everything to your cart and then don't enter payment info. I will go in, correct it all then send you a link to pay.
