Now that they've lowered the price of the Inspire 1 V2 to $1999 it would be hard to justify buying the P4. Don't get me wrong it is a great little quad but for a few hundred more you get a extremely stable system. I've got a feeling a new version of the Inspire is around the corner which will probably have object avoidance etc... but "if taken care of" the Inspire is at least a 4-5 year craft. I'm seriously considering buying another one as a back up to the one I've got now.

I was reaaaaaaaaaaally on the fence about it but I spend a few hundred and bought an F550 for my gopro. I still might toss around the idea of getting an inspire but I will wait til someone is selling theirs and needs the money

 

Actually that's not a bad plan. As with any tech... newer products come out and I actually kind of feel bad for those that wanted to sell their Inspire. At $1999 it is a steal for what you are getting. But, the problem with buying a used craft is you don't know how it's been taken care of. I'm meticulous with all my photo / video equipment. But if you can find a used one that has been taken care of you might score a great deal. But at $1999 I'd rather buy new. Like I said before, the P4 is no slouch but it's not a Inspire either.

 

I actually expect someone to have a couple of hard landings or maybe dive in to a bush with an I1, I am not too worried about it. I can fix anything barring a catastrophic crash heh. And yeah $2k for a nice platform isn't bad, especially considering the flight controller (the A2) is $1000 alone.
