I replaced the provided screws with stainless tapered bolts and lock nuts. Placed painters tape on the location, marked and drilled the four holes. Put silcone on the raw metal and thin rubber washers behind the opener. Two screws and pop the tail light out. Easy install, 10 minutes maybe. Well worth it.

I also got a Homelink mirror (garage & gate door opener) with Autodim and Comapss in green color that comes with green backlit on Ebay for $130 plus shipping. It was a plug and play, no modification or cutting was involved. I love it!

How is the cutout for the knobs? Did you remove them to install the protector?

N-Fab RKR Sliders went on today. The detachable steps will arrive tomorrow. Also got to test out the new CB today when a buddy at work brought his Jeep in. It's all coming together right in time for the long weekend.

Actually, I ended up calling the salesman up there at 4wheelparts, who is a big Toyota fan. He stated that they had the pro comp 3" lvling kit for my 3rd gen, just not on the website yet. So it is definitely worth contacting them and inquiring. I had them do it all there this morning, only took them about 6 hours. =)

It ran about $300 or so, then $200 for the wheel spacers so I could cram those fatties under there without rubbing. =) Then paid labor and warranty and for tires, which I picked up at a great deal.

Thanks for the compliment, I love it.
    I have had a 1990 4x4 the 22r. and I traded in my 1997 3.4 4x4 sr5 for this mackdaddy 3rd gen.
So this is my third, very happy with it.
