How about those Golden State Warriors?

Wow! Just wow. For many reasons. Warriors down 16 in the 1st quarter. Livingston ejection late in the 2nd. Lillard seemingly unstoppable.

Worst officiating I've ever seen. To have a player ejected from the game, a player vital to the Warriors, looked to be the death of the team in game 4. A player who had never been ejected in his entire NBA career (675 games) was sent packing. Just pathetic officiating. Curry was to come back this game, but for limited minutes. This ejection changed everything. Maybe for the better. We'll never know. I imagine Portland fans are none to happy about Currys performance.


Stephen Curry's 40 points by period:
Q1: 4 points on 2-6
Q2: 7 points on 3-7
Q3: 2 points on 1-5
Q4: 10 points on 4-7
OT: 17 points on 6-7

Clearly, Curry was rusty. But, amazingly, he set an NBA record, with the most points in an OT.

Warriors take a 3-1 lead in the series with game 5 Wednesday in Oakland.

 

Unanimously(1st time in NBA history) voted the League MVP for the second consecutive season. Stephen Curry. Golden State Warriors.

Spurs did not hold up their end of the bargain. Again. No Warriors Spurs match up this year. Looks like the Spurs have grown old.

Well, that was disappointing. Again, I say, worst officiating ever. But, the Warriors let the Thunder back in the game. Then Westbrook finally starting making shots, and the Warriors failed to answer. Cold shooting in the second half. Curry was mauled every time the Warriors had the ball. Big discrepancy in foul shots to the advantage of the Thunder. Complete bullshit.

Which is exactly how the Spurs dropped two games to the thunder. Horrid officiating, controversial calls in key moments. You see that missed travel on Westbrook? I was hoping for the Warriors to pull it out tonight.

 

Or the Iguadola offensive slam dunk attempt. He was fouled. It was called. He should have gone to the line for two. Ruled he was not shooting. Too many of those to mention.

 

Warriors rebound, take Thunder down in a 2nd half flurry.

Series now knotted up. On to OKC for what is sure to be a very tough two games.

Wow. That was terrible. Not only do the Warriors have to battle the Thunder, but they have to battle the officials, as well. May sound like sour grapes, But, I'll tell you, it's bad. In the first three minutes Westbrook gets stopped dead in his tracks by thompson, so he just jumps into Klay, and throws up a prayer. No basket, but a foul is called. At the other end Thompson is stopped by Durant. He jumps into Durant, no basket. No foul. Durant is beyond the arc. He comes up, maybe a shot, maybe a pass. Iguadola gets all ball. No basket, as the ball is knocked out of bounds. Foul is called. Reviewed to see if it's a three point play. No review that Iguadola got all ball. Three free throws. Thunder constant holding, grabbing. No calls. Massive amount of fouls called on GS.

Thunder kicked ass. Lead Series. Warriors down. They really need to make a statement next game or they are in trouble.

Looks grim in Dubville. Gotta be real about it. The Thunder are on maximum peak, Warriors look lost. First time all year they have lost two in a row. Everything is dropping in for OKC, Warriors can't buy a basket.

Warriors one step closer to pulling off the improbable. It's a serious long shot as Game 5 was not decisive. Gonna take a superhuman effort to beat OKC at home. It depends on Curry. He has not been himself this entire series.

I agree! Curry has looked sloppy with his shooting and his passing. It's going to be a long shot in game 6, but I do believe the Warriors are capable of proving everyone wrong.
