When I ordered it I had it built with extra fiberglass. Just incase. But I think standard would have been fine. It was great either way though. Nothing that even remotely had me worried.

6th and 7th of Mai, 2016. Friday night with two thirds of the mountain to camp site, and a nerve racking one third of everything from snow, ice, dirt, mud and water, off camber uphill and downhill to the top the next day and back down again.
We had a great photographer so I might be exaggerating here.

I did before I got my RTT... slept in my Softtopper with a truck bedz air mattress... worked well. just had the drawbacks of all air mattresses... "losing air" as the air cools...

I sleep under mine. Even in temps down to 10 degrees with a nice chilly wind in the middle of December. With a zero degree sleeping bag and my dog (and a Nalgene bottle filled with hot water), I was super cozy all night! On top of a REI sleeping pad. Honestly, I love sleeping under it. It gets me off the ground, makes me feel more secure and well nothing flaps (like a rain fly in windy conditions). I love it! It's waterproof and rainproof.

    Cool Cool.

I finally gave it a go this weekend and camped/slept in the Supertop. Worked out perfectly. My air mattress fits like a glove. And I DIY'd a little canopy to keep the rain off and give me a dry place to stand and eat.

I bought my Taco in December, took it out for it's first night of truck camping last Friday. Bought it with the canopy already on, then put in less than $150 in wood and other supplies. Worked out great! Hopefully taking it out again this weekend. Storage bins on either side (overfilled, I promise the lids fit better than they look.) Carpeted bottom with a cheap foam mattress pad. Amazon cheap LED strip lights velcroed to the carpeted top and wired from the battery or can be switched to run off an old 12v li-ion tool battery. I have a plywood piece to make one solid platform across the top if I need the extra storage underneath, but the extra headroom is pretty nice so I almost always leave it out. Comes out in 3 pieces with 6 screws in about 4 minutes.

Camping in Goblin Valley, UT. Not the best pic of the truck itself but the location was epic.

That's a gorgeous spot I've been hoping to get out to. A cousin of mine took a trip there from the island a couple of years ago and loved it.
