So final question before it goes on next week -
Now that I got the 2.2 in, rebuilding the s/c as I'm not exactly sure how many miles are on this might as well before its on.

I see this rolling performance nose kit has koyo bearings but from what I'm reading it doesn't come with a new coupler? Is that right? I can also choose a high performance viton nose seal
    http://www.rollingperformance.com/snoutkits.htm

Then on this eBay kit it has skf bearings but has a coupler and is cheaper
    http://m.ebay.com/itm/Eaton-M90-Sup...d-Repair-Bearing-Kit-/251562564900?nav=SEARCH

    Which is a better take?

Found me a non FFV Tundra and a dealer with a TRD supercharger still in stock so I am hoping the deal works itself out. They just beating me up on my 2016 Tacoma Limited. Thats what happens when you go from a Raptor to a Tacoma. I feel as if i was neutered.

That is the wrong kit. Ours is the M62. I just rebuilt mine and it was about 120$ total. I may have a full rebuild kit up fs soon.
That doesn't even include the rear bearings either

    YouTube it.

I got an over the phone sound clip, when it was still a prototype. It sounded better than any combo to date. Combined with the Spec- U headers, it sounds like a refined 350Z exhaust, in my opinion.

If I were you I would look into ceramic bearings on the rebuild kit before you rebuild it.

What are you planning on using for your transmission if you end up going that route?

Thanks for the input. I was reading a lot last night and not many people have opted for those and the price difference doesn't really constitute the price IMO given the steel bearings can last about 100k miles.

Anyone have experience with the URD AFR (air fuel timing calibrator) on the 3.4l supercharger? I'm running a completely stock supercharger setup (no fuel system upgrades) and am getting tired of the occasional pinging I'm getting, especially under high gear/low RPM acceleration.

I've read that this helps and can also help with it's overall performance, just wondering by how much according to anyone here that's running one?

Any input would be appreciated thanks!

Apparently there's 4 bearings in the s/c? The 2 in the nose cone, the rotor bearings and supposedly 2 others that I don't see on rolling performance. Would those be vital to replace as well?
I figure I'll get the nose kit for $75+30 for the coupler+25 for rotor bearings= so for roughly $130

I don't know how much more expensive they are, but if you had the money to splurge I would definitely do it. Of course idk how you feel about splurging on truck mods.

2 for the nose cone and 2 for the rear drive of the rotors. So yes 4 total. I would replace all bearings while you are in there. The last thing you want to have to do is tear it apart again because the one you didn't replace is crapping out.

Haha yeah I'm definitely not about to drop $175 on a nose kit alone vs $75. So big difference. Edit: $195 vs 75

My only gripe is this full kit has skf bearings and I'd like to stay Asian with koyos
    http://m.ebay.com/itm/251776486881?_mwBanner=1

And when you say 2 for the rear drive of the rotors do you mean these?
    http://www.rollingperformance.com/rotorbearings.htm
Or is it something else cause that eBay kit ^ has 4 and the rotor bearings.

Those are the ones good sir! The first set that is. Hell for $200 for a kit I woulddefinitely do it. Fuckkk itttt...!

Are they really 10k for a crate engine? They have been out for years and years. I don't see why they would be that much.

For when and if you do, go for a 4L80e trans before a 4L60e... the 60e's are absolute crap.

Well for $200 it's actually just the nose kit so that wouldn't include the coupler, rear bearings, and rotor bearings and seals. Anyways I'm off all next week so I'm anticipating to spend a butt ton of money.
