I am more than likely going to make the trek to this. Would be a good road trip from Texas, but sounds like it would be a fun time.

Hopefully get the trial rides setup a profile better. I was in a green/blue group wanting to do more blues but most of the FJ guys were crying about the blues so they stuck with mainly greens. Was gonna get in a black group but I was told no not without at least a locker. Well guess what muthaf•#kers I got a locker now. Wooooo can't wait. But seriously I may just try to find a few ppl to explore some blues and maybe blacks with and not go with their "groups" my groups last year had like 20 vehicles. It was a pain in the ass. Just have to remember to take it easy as driving 10 1/2hrs home with a busted truck would suck. Still a great event. Can't wait.

Dropped front and rear lockers into mine as well but will be bringing my six year old boy so not doing anything too wild.

Your plan sounds good so look me up so we can make plans.

This exactly. I was in the same group as you on the first day. Supposed to head to a Radar Tower that we never saw after 9 hours on the trail. There were way too many vehicles in that group, I think it ended up totaling 23. The FJ that whiskey throttled and ended up busting two tires didn't help matters. I had way more fun the next day going out with a couple of guys and just running the trails we wanted to. Trail rides should never exceed 10 vehicles, otherwise you get too strung out for comms and too bogged down to make any distance.
