I understand that folks might be reluctant due to past issues with production. The situation is much different now than it was. The biggest help is that I no longer have a job that requires me to travel at the drop of a hat and for a month at a time. I have also brought on a gentleman that is helping me with correspondence. So even if something was to tie me up, we have a point of contact. A good deal of time and cash has been invested into building up a stock so that we have product that can ship immediately instead of having to wait a few weeks for production. The goal is to turn the operation around into a reputable custom emblem business.

As a sign of my good intentions, I will throw a few of the emblems back up for sale at a heavily discounted rate. Hopefully good reviews will build some faith. The Ebay listings will be live shortly.

Hey guys, just wanted to check in and see how everything looked. I went ahead and relisted some emblems that are ready to ship out. If things keep moving smoothly, I'll start building a little inventory of skid plates and hitch recovery points.

 

Post some pics of the installed emblems when you get a chance! I love to see these in action.

 

My skid plate arrived on 3 May, two weeks after placing my order.

The Good: Jeff's (@MetalMiller) communication throughout purchase process was excellent. The skid was delivered as agreed - ON TIME and ON BUDGET. It is SOLID and WELL-MADE. The GLOSS BLACK powder coat is thick and durable. The skid’s fit is good, but I needed (longer) after-market bolts to secure it because hole alignment was off just enough to require more “play” than the OEM bolts allowed.

The Bad: The red backplate came loose in transit, so I sanded the contact points (how I know the powder coat is thick and durable) and re-attached with epoxy. Installation of the skid required removal of the TRD Off Road tow hook. As shown in the second photo, I see no way they can co-exist without a design change.

Bottom line: I'm happy with my purchase and recommend MetalMiller, if you're in the market for a skid.
