Trying to get to a chain of lakes to do some fly fishing. Ended up needing to turn around due to 6 ft+ drifts of snow, but I did grab some decent pics!

Just completed a week long trip doing the 5 national parks in Utah: Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. Very awesome time with stunning scenery. We did a few off-road excursions including the "Top of the World" trail Northeast of Moab, UT, and the Colorado River Overlook trail in Canyonlands National Park. Can't wait to go back to Moab and tackle a few more trails when I finish my next round of modifications. Still, the stock TRD Off-road impressed me with what I was able to handle.

For anyone headed to Moab, this book: Amazon link is an amazing resource, there's actually a 3rd edition out with updated trail conditions that I found at a bookstore in Moab while I was there, but the 2nd edition is generally more useful and descriptive.

Easy-Moderate section of "Top of the World" Trail. Google Map reference

Amazing cliffside overlook at the end of the trail:

Scary ass view from inside the cab driving up to the cliff edge:

Looking back from the cliff edge on the trail we came up:

The Moab is an off-road wonderland, and I'd highly recommend it to everyone. I can't wait to go back.

EDIT: My buddy just sent me some more photos from the trail, see below!

Slightly more difficult part of the trail going up:

    Going back down:

Thank goodness for Crawl Control, was still able to get traction despite some pesky airborn tires:

I went to check my game camera's today, decided to cross the creek on the property i hunt on. Wasn't much water flowing, but i put it in 4wd to make sure it work's. It only has 350 miles on it so far, it did good going up that embankment.

Took the Taco on the Mojave Trail to test out the new Kings/Total Chaos UCA's... Killed it! Ate up the washboards, rocks, and whoops.

    Mostly stuff I built.
Put 150 miles in off road this weekend at Padre Island National Sea Shore to test out the Tacoma. My truck is a manual so no crawl control or MTS. However A-Trac and the locker both worked well not that they were needed but I intentional put the truck in a bind so I could see what the truck was made of. Flawless... Just like a Toyota 4x4 should.

    Exactly where I was.

Dillion Rd/Berdoo Canyon. About 3-4 miles in. Set up a shooting area and a camp site.

Good trail. Was there in Feb. except for the part where a homeless man randomly came out of the brush. Scared the shit out of me.

This was about 10 miles outside of Glenwood Springs (New Castle) and about 10 or so miles up Buford road in flat top. First come first serve spots but absolutely beautiful.
