Not a great photo but the only one I have on my phone. I make subwoofer enclosures. I designed and built this one for my 06 access cab. It's designed to have 1 ft cubic airspace for the top subwoofer and 1.25 for the bottom subwoofer. This specific design holds two 10s with a maximum mounting depth of 11 3/8 inches. If y'all are looking for subwoofer enclosures. Someone just send me some run of the mill dimensions of the transmission hump, length width and heighth, then the height of the console from the transmission hump as well as from the floor. Then find the desired angle you want to have from coming up the console. For say if you want if flush just tell me and I'll go by that. I'll try and upload more pictures of this specific box tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I can run to the Toyota place and just take some quick measurements of one of their trucks and build a mock up box. If anyone would be interested in seeing one, buying one, or taking the dimensions of the box and building their own.

We can make ground shaking happen. Send me some dimensions and I'll try and get to a Toyota dealership and get some of my own soon. And I'll send you a CAD drawing of the interior of the cab with the box input into the cab to see if you'd be interested. My only question is do you want 10s or 12s? 15s are out of the picture because you'd lose your seats and I'd imagine you want to keep them.

So you donate your truck to them for several days, allow them to advertise using your truck and must pay full price for all equipment? Sounds like a sweet deal...

I had the JL audio stealthbox (SB-T-TACACCAB/10W3v3/DG) installed by a local installer. I have an access cab. They also replaced all speakers and fully dynamat'd all doors.

They had to cut 2" off the end of the enclosure (what goes inside the console) to make it fit, and fab better brackets to hold in place. Sounds awesome with a JL Fix 82 and JL amp.

Time to revive this thread. I have been in contact with OEM Audio Plus on and off for the past 2 months. They were extremely interested in setting up a way to get my truck in to them for a few weeks so they could install and R&D a new OEM Audio Plus system with a subwoofer for Access Cabs. We finally found and agreed on dates and times where it would work. So now my 2016 TRD AC Sport is with them for the next 2 weeks. They rented me a 2015 Dodge Ram 4x4 (ugggh) to drive while they design, install, test, and video the installation for a brand new OEM Audio Plus system and subwoofer design for Access Cabs! I am stoked and I know they are as well to finally have their hands on one for R&D. They said they were almost to the point of buying a 2016 AC outright due to the demand to design a system for them. They have been extremely accommodating to me and so far have been awesome to deal with. I will keep everyone here updated on the progress and results.

Any news from OEM+ I'd really like to see what they have come up with!!! I dont see anything new on their site except they have removed the entry for access cabs and combined the C3 sytem for DC and AC into one. http://www.shop.oemaudioplus.com/Toyota-Tacoma-Dbl-Cab-C-TYT-TCD-CCC-1600.htm

Is it just me or is their site incredibly slowwwww

I have my truck back now for the time being. They had it for 2 weeks for R & D. Said they would need it back for a few days soon to fit a new sub enclosure and the amp. They did install the speakers in the front and rear doors, as well as the tweeters in the dash. They also put together a framed mock up of the way the sub will sit in the rear and I saw the photos. Looks awesome and very compact to save space. Does not sacrifice any cab or seating space in the rear. It is currently being designed and prepared for production according to them. They asked me not to share the sub design yet until it is released. So far the speakers they have installed sound great, but they are only being run from the existing head unit with no amp or sub so only a slight improvement. I will update when I have more to share. I would tell everyone interested to sign up for the e-mail updates at the link posted above so they know there is strong interest in the project, and keep moving along quickly with the design and production.

Was asked on Friday to take my truck to OEM Audio+ again for some more fitment and measurements. They removed some of the interior items in the back of the cab. I saw a new prototype of the sub box they have designed in my truck for a few minutes while they were taking some measurements in the back of the cab. Looks slightly different than the previous prototype I saw, but this new one looks even better than the previous prototype. They then took the prototype box out and said they would be in touch again soon. They have to send it back to the fabricator, and then onto the manufacturer for a final prototype in the coming days they said. Looks awesome so far. I am very impressed just from the mock-up they have already created. Think this system, and the custom sub box for Access Cabs are going to be great with what I have seen from them so far. They said they are almost ready to move forward with finishing my truck and then releasing the full system to the public for purchase. Great experience and really great people there so far, and I am very excited to see and hear the final product.

I couldn't wait for Toyota so I designed my sub box. Also has jockey box storage and works as arm rest for jump seats! Hope yours turns out Great!

Got a picture update from OEM Audio+ with the sub box they are planning to install in my truck and release with their package for 2016 access cabs. Looks pretty sweet and can't even tell there is a sub hiding in there facing the floorboard. Think it will be awesome when it is all done. They are currently in production overseas and they said the completed product should be in within a week or two and they will need my truck back for a few days to install and set it up, take install pictures and video, etc. Getting close, and I can't wait. They said i could share this picture online. Here is the link with info and to sign up for updates and interest in the system: http://oemaudioplus.com/toyota/tacoma-access-cab/

when I get around to my stereo upgrade, I'm planning on getting one of JL Audio's powered mini-subs, and just strapping it into my AC via bungicords to the child seat tiedowns, with the seats folded down. if I need the space, I'll unplug the sub and do without for the day.

    i'll probably get this one.
    http://www.jlaudio.com/acp110lg-tw1-car-audio-microsub-amplified-subwoofer-systems-93332

    0261306d7ae9d060741e7f8bbdf8e0aa[1].jpg

and put a PowerPole power jack somewhere nearby, along with RCA sockets, so I can remove the wiring. They use 30A at 12V as input power.

audition these if you can, they sound amazing for their size, even at 'quite loud' volumes. their secret is, the sub is wound with really low impedance (0.25 ohm), this allows the integrate amplifier to output a lot more watts without having to develop crazy voltages.

Also started the tape work to do my own fiberglass box. I lose storage space but I have a dog who tends to lay accross the whole floor so had to save space for when he is in there. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out

Those are the all-weather floor liners from Toyota, for the access cab front and rear mats.
