This build may be slow due to funds but it is happening and slowly coming together. I haven't done anything major lately so ill just go from where it started.

    Exterior:
    Bilstein 5100's front and rear
    30" toughlight bar
CBI ditch light brackets with toughlight 4d amber pods
    2 bedrail mounted rear-facing pods
    Anytime fog light mod
    Plasti dipped Emblems

    Wheels/ tires:
    Bfg all terrain Ko2 285/75r16
    16" Method standards

    Future Mods:
    Depo tailights
    Blue sea fuse box
    Bussman 100amp circuit breaker
    6 rocker switch panel
    Bumpers
    Mid travel
    possibly a RTT
    Soft top shell
    sport hood w/scoop

The first time it saw dirt with nothing done
    20150408_130814.jpg

Then came the Bilstein's. 5100's front & rear. And of course the plasti-dipped emblems

    20150616_165803.jpg

For being stock, shes got flex!
    20151103_160837.jpg

    Then came the 285 Ko2's!

    20151231_104620.jpg 20160315_193233.jpg

Up next was method standards. i was pretty excited about this since it completely changed the look of the truck.

    20160303_113747.jpg

When I bought the truck the shell came on it so Its nice to have on longer trips especially in the winter. Wish i could always have it on but due to always having a dirtbike in the bed its tough. I'd like to look into a soft topper if anyone has any recommendations.

I added a 10" Auto zone bar in the lower bumper just since my buddy had it laying around his shop. we spliced it into the fog lights since to me it wasn't worth running a switch and relay just for that.

    DSC_3851.jpg

Just havin a little fun and flexxin!

    DSC_3877.jpg

Got a huge deal from Toughlight on 2 4d amber pods, 2 4d regular pods, and a 30" pro 2 bar all for $200. i want to wait until i have a switch and relay/ fuse box to put it all in.

    DSC_3886.jpg

But got really anxious yesterday and decided to swap the 10" out for the 30" while keeping it on the fog lights.

    DSC_3895.jpg

    DSC_3897.jpg

    DSC_3898.jpg

Mounted it to the crash bar but used the old mounts just because I didn't want to drill holes in the new pretty ones.

    DSC_3906.jpg

Later last night, decided to do the very easy anytime fog light mod so the bar could be on without the headlights.

(excuse the muddy engine bay) :anonymous:

So I wired up 2 amber pods behind my grill this morning. Hung them off of 2- 5/16, 4 1/2" bolts with some lock washers and nuts. Had to do the horn relocation to behind the battery for this. Might not be the most functional but it works until I decide to do a mesh grill.

@MuricaTaco How'd you mount the flag pole to the hitch?

I'll take post some photos of it tomorrow but it's fairly simple, however I have a tow ball not a hitch so it was pretty simple for me. Basically mounting my pole I put a nut and washer on each side of my bumper & tightened it down.
Granted I'm pretty sure 2nd gens have hitches & not tow balls however I've seen mounts created for hitches before and other means of mounting a flag

Got my @CBI Offroad Fab DLB's last night so decided to mount the amber's. love the look and the installation was super simple. minor drilling to widen up one of the holes but besides that they're perfect!

Painted my gauges and door speaker rings. easy to do but a pain to take off the entire door panel for the speaker rings. Looks good though!

Welded up some tabs for 2 pods behind the cab. works great at night and can be pointed sideways if needed.

Fun little turn off to the side of the trail. Never made my truck teeter before but it happened!
